Show Mormons Topic Of Look Magazine Article "The MORMONS - literally, I the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints have never been understood un-derstood by their fellow Americans," Amer-icans," is the observations made by writer Hartzell Spence in an eleven-page article in the January Janu-ary 21st issue of LOOK MAGAZINE, MA-GAZINE, on sale this week. The arttcle is the third in a new LOOK series of Religions in America. The writer and photographers visited such places pla-ces as "This is the Place" monument, monu-ment, the East Stratford Ward in Salt Lake City, Brigham Young University and a Mormon Mor-mon farm family of nine in Preston, Idaho. Color photographs photo-graphs show baptismal services on the beach of Hanadma Bay in Hawaii where Mormonism is now the second largest Christian church, according to the article. Mr. Spence tells of the Church influence he saw on the lives of members, at a spring prom at Brigham Young University."Not a girl was arrayed in an immodest im-modest gown. There was no necking between dances, no rowdyism row-dyism of any kind," the writer observed. The writer traces the colorful history of the Mormons from their origin, with the vision of Joseph Smith; he tells of their growth and their enforced westward west-ward trek till their final settlement settle-ment in Salt Lake City.
