Show Junior League Sets Charity Ball Monday, January 7th, is a red letter day for members of Salt Lake Junior League. This is the day when production begins in earnest for the "Follies Petite" performance per-formance that is a highlight of the League's charity ball schedule for Jan. 19. The University of Utah's new Student Union Building is to be the scene of the ball which will feature a continuous dinner and dancing in addition to the local-talent follies. Tickets for the ball are available from any league member for the price of $12.50 a couple. Funds from the ticket sales will be used to continue the many charity, welfare wel-fare and community-betterment projects of the League. Ball chairman, Mrs. Peter W. Billings, announces that a prize of a six day, all expense paid, vacation vaca-tion for two at the Paradise Inn in Phoenix, Arizona will be awarded to a lucky couple attending attend-ing the ball. League members and their husbands hus-bands will be spotlighted at 10:30 p.m. that evening in a follies that will be produced and directed by the Jerome II. Cargill Productions Organization Inc. of New York City. Ardean Watts' orchestra will provide music for the entire evening. Committee members assisting Mrs. Billings with arrangements are Mrs. Richard K. Reuling, Mrs. Tarley White, Mrs. Robert Law-son, Law-son, Mrs. John L. Crenshaw, Jr., Mrs. Charles T. Bintz, Mrs. Frederick Fred-erick Whitridge, Mrs. Alan E. Brockbank, Mrs. Joseph Bollinger, Mrs. Joseph Fitzpatrick, Mrs. Stuart B. Pett and Mrs. Richard G. Price. |
