Show Holladay Girl Scouters Discuss Plans The Holladay Neighborhood meeting for the Girl Scout and Brownie Scout leaders was held ion Wednesday, October 9 at the !home of Mrs. Carl Ohran, 2614 E. i Lincoln Lane, Neighborhood chairman. chair-man. These meetings are held monthly, month-ly, and from them come the programs pro-grams that various Troops carry out. The Holladay Neighborhood now proudly boasts eleven troops, and the Neighborhood feels it is indeed fortunate to have as its Service Team, such faithful and Mrs. Carl Ohran, neighborhood chairman; Mrs. N. Dale Johnson, troop consultant and Mrs. Leo Wallach, troop organizer, have worked long, and diligently to interest in-terest the mothers and so provide the leaders for the girls who desire de-sire to avail themselves of the opportunities op-portunities offered -by scouting. Excluding motor vehicle deaths, the No. 1 killer in 1956 of persons in the "active age" group persons per-sons 15 to 44 years of age was drowning. |
