Show Homemakers Group Starts Busy Season On October 14 at 7, the Home-maker Home-maker Group of the Utah State Home Economics Association held ' a dinner and business meeting at the home of Mrs. Ivan Dahl, 153 East 7720 South, Midvale. This was the opening of a busy season planned by the approximately approxi-mately forty members, each of whom has a degree in home economics. eco-nomics. These ladies are now making ma-king homes for their families, rather ra-ther than being active in the business busi-ness world, but they endeavor thru their club affiliations to keep in touch with the modern world and its improvements. Beginning the first of October, they meet on the second Monday of each month through May. Officers of the club include: president, pre-sident, Mrs. Robert Hacker; vice-president, vice-president, Mrs. Spencer Jenson; secretary, Mrs. Chas. Broschin-sky; Broschin-sky; treasurer, Mrs. Ivan Dahl, and program chairmen, Mrs. Robt. Weagel and Mrs. Orson Allen. A particulary interesting and timely discussion is planned for their first November meeting. Guest speaker will be Ada Elkins, from Z.C.M.I., who will give a lecture on "Gift Wrapping and Holiday Glamour," at which time she will demonstrate the art of making the gift look exciting and beautiful and also the art of holiday holi-day table and home decorations. This meeting will be held Nov. Home Economics is necessary to qualify for membership.
