Show PTA GROUPS ELECT OFFICERS FOR FALL T w o Farent-Teacher Assn. groups, one in East Mill Creek and the other in Cottonwood, have elected new officers. Mrs. Barr E. Quist of 5346 Highland Dr. has been named new resident of the Oakwood Elementary Elemen-tary PTA. She was elected at a meeting held recently at the school, 5935 Highland Dr.., and will succeed suc-ceed Mrs. Elias W. Day. Mrs. Clarence W. Reese will serve as new vice president; Mrs. Harry A. Shaw, new secretary; Mrs. John H. Makinen, treasurer, and Mrs. Ted Hansell, chairman of the nominating committee. At the East Mill Creek Elementary Elemen-tary School. 39th South and 11th East St., Mrs. Clarence W. Shore was elected new president. Named new first vice president was Mrs. Earl Jones. Mrs. George Iverson will be new secretary and Mrs. Kenneth O.-Melby treasurer. Principal Reho Thorum will serve as second vice president. |
