Show H. S. Students Win 1 Acting Study Roles Two high schol students, 1 Madelon Thomas, Bryant Jun- I ior, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I Llewellyn O. Thomas, 701 E. I S. Temple St., and George Dale- j bout, East, daughter of Mr. and I Mrs. Lee W. Dalebout, 1058 i Lincoln St., are winners of I scholarships to the Summer j Theatre course now being con- , ducted at Westminister College for high school students, it was , announced Wednesday by Prof. Jay W. Lees, Chairman of the Speech Department at the College. All high schools in the city were represented in the acting tryouts for scholarships. Robert H. Stevens, Olympus, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Stevens, 1814 North Woodside Drive, received honorable mention. men-tion. Mrs. Georglana Taylor Lees and Mrs. Patricia Packard Lees are directors of the six-week course. |
