They later viewed the St. Johns Church where Patrick Henry spoke the immortal lines which were so much a part of Americas effort to gain independence, "Give me liberty, or give me death". This year the cities of James-town Yorkstown and Williams-burg are celebrating the "James-town Festival" which commemor ates the three hundred and and fiftieth anniversary of the beginning of America. Mrs. Jorg-ense-n and her friends viewed and were able to participate in the celebration. From New York City they went to Palmyra and the Hill Cumorah. They arrived in time to witness the stirring pageant. They also visited the Sacred Grove and the Joseph Smith Home. They then visited the famed Niagara Falls, then to Chicago and from Neb-raska they followed the old Pioneer Trail back to Salt Lake City and home. continued from page 1 kind while afield during the hunt and also listed the following In-formation covering the season. Red headgear must be worn at all times while hunting. It shall be illegal to carry a siring bow in or on a vehicle Archery permits may be pur-cas- ed only at department offices, lu:G west North Temple, Salt lue City, either by mailed or personal application. They will io.it;rtue on sale at these offices ucil the hunt is ended, Sept. 15. Applications must include full name, address, big game license number and a $3 fee. Minimum regulations listed in the deer proclamation covering bow and arrow equipment must be observed by all hunters. The archery tags are not con-sidered as a special permit and therefore do not restrict the holder from obtaining two special deer permits for the 1957 seasons. The depertment further noted that all regulations for. the bow season are in agreement with the organized archers of the state. Both the department and the organized archers again reminded all bow and arrow --hunters to observe the governing regulations for the hunt as listed in the pro-clamation; to obtain permission before hunting on private land, and to be especially not to disturb livestock on the open ranges over the state. Range conditions and deer herd numbers both point to a highly successfnl archery season. Hunter success for some 3,400 permittees in 1956 showed nearly one out of five bagging an animal.
