Miss O.Brien has been here visiting her family since June 11th. While Irene has been home she visited a girl friend for two weeks in Tucson, Arizona, spending one week in Stockton, California, at the Folk Dance Camp that is held at the College of the Pacific. She visited for three days in San Francisco with relatives. Miss O'Brien graduated from South High School and the Uni-versity of Utah. She received her Masters Degree at the University of Washington. World Mrs. Fullmer Hostess To Bridge Club A bridge party was held at the home of Mrs. Arnold Fuiimer, 1246 E. Crystal Ave. Emma Bowen won the first prize, Mar-jor- ie Bauer won second prize, Enid Peters won low prize. Ref-reshments were served and those enjoying the evening of card play-ing included: Louise Andrews, Emma Bowen, Margery Bauer, Penny Lynott, Lucille Fetaer, Serol Rytting, Alberta Boyd, and Enid Peters. EMC Lady Lions Plan Fall Dinner - Meeting The first fall meeting for the East Mill Creek Lady Lions will be a get-acquaint- ed party Thurs-day evening, September 12. The Doll House will be the sett-ing for the 7:00 p. m. dinner meeting. The program will in-clude a book review, "How To Be An Absolutely Perfect House-keeper", by Margaret Beal. Acc ordion music will be presented by LaRue Billeter to complete the evening's program. Hostesses include Mrs. Frank E. Pitts, Mrs. B. M. Winsor, Mrs. Ray Elgren, Mrs. Boyard A. Ro-binson, Mrs. John R. Garrison and Mrs. Ellis Brockus. Mrs. Clarence Anderson Is president of the organization. Named As Marriage Counslor In Provb Richard Holbrook, 2839 East Pamela Drive, has accepted a position as marriage counselor in Provo. The job is to commence about the first of September, but he final plans of the Holbrooks for moving are indefinite. Boyd Oviatt, 7715 Dell Road, and Donald Holladay, 4575 Well-ington, has accepted positions as marriage counselors in Salt Lake City. Under the new legislative provision, counselors have been provided --for those seeking divorce in Utah. Two counselors have been assigned to Salt Lake, one to Provo, and one to Ogden. Neighbors and friends of Mrs. Hannah Dorius who is 80 yean old, was given a luncheon in her honor August 20th on the lawn at 4711 Highland drive. Mrs. Dorius who is recovering from a stroke has been a resident at the home for the last two years, she has many friends and a nephew who visit her often. Leaves For German LDS Mission Richard Fetzer left for East Germany Tuesday Morning on a mission. During the time prepar-atory to leaving, he has been feted at parties and has had visits from the family, and relatives from all over gathering to wish him well. Among the visitors, were Dr. and Mrs. Taylor Wooley, brother of Mrs. Fetzer, and their three children, Stephen, Spencer and Lee. Mrs. Mary W. Bennion,from Port Chester, New York, sister of Mrs. Fetzer is here, along with Lea Wooley, also a sister who is here from California. Mrs. Frank Hawker, Erda, Utah, with her three children, Carol, Dennis, and Jimmy, While , here, they also visited with Elvira Wooley, and Dr. and Mrs. Will-iam Bennion.
