Bountiful Recreation will once again be co-sponsoring the YBA program. We will be sending information out through the schools so watch for this to come home. Please be aware due to the construction o new jaccuzi, all swimi programs are being held a Indoor Pool, 785 S. 100 I SHARKS Bountiful City sponsors an age-group competitive swim team, the Bountiful Sharks. The team practices on Mon.-Tues.-Wed.-Fri. from 4-6 p.m. Members of the team participate partici-pate in swim meets every month and have an outstanding outstand-ing opportunity to meet many new friends as well as getting into great shape. We invite anyone who is interested to come and try it out. A free week trial period is extended to newcomers. The team is coached by Kerstin Severin and by Jeff Greene. For more information, please call Kris at :9:-0422. SWIMMING LESSONS Our next session of morning swim lessons will begin the week of Nov. 1. These lessons include our Moms & Tots classes clas-ses and our MINNOW classes. We are therefore able to take children from the ages of six months up through pre-school. We will be holding registration the week of Oct. 25. The classes clas-ses are taught on Mon.-Wed. or Tues.-Thurs. mornings be-t be-t een the hours of 9-1 1 for the pre-schoolers. Moms & Tots from 11-12 and the Minnows from 12-1. EXERCISE PROGRAMS Please drop-in on our ladies' evening exercise classes currently cur-rently being held at the Bountiful Bounti-ful Indoor Pool. An hour of aerobic exercise followed by an hour of water exercises is offered every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 8-10 p.m. Cheryl Rosengreen is the instructor. WE OFFER Aqua-trim classes clas-ses every Tuesday and Thursday Thurs-day morning at 9 a.m. This is an hour class of water exercises exer-cises and is a continuous program prog-ram so you may begin anytime. The cost is $1.50. For the early-risers, the same class is offered Monday through Friday Fri-day from 5-7 a.m. The cost is $1 .50 or you're welcome to use punch cards for either of the classes. The ladies' slimnastics classes clas-ses will begin again Nov. 1 (or as soon as the bubble is up and new jaccuzi is completed). This program consists of an hour of aerobic classes and an hour of water exercises. The class will be held on Mon.-Wed.-Fri. from 9-11 (please take advantage of the story-time story-time service). The cost for this class is $25 for ten classes. ALL NIGHT PARTIES If you are looking for a new and exciting idea for a party for your ward, club or family Bountiful City Recreation has just the answer for you. On Friday and Saturday evenings, the Recreation Center is available avail-able for rental for all-night parties. par-ties. Your group has complete access to the swimming pool, ice rink, racquetball courts, steam and sauna and the downstairs down-stairs area. The time range available is from 9-2 a.m. The base cost is $100 (for larger groups the costs will increase to cover increased personnel needs). Registration will be held the week of Nov. 1. Classes will be held on Mon.-Tues, Mon.-Fri., Tues.-Sat. Tues.-Sat. from 4:45-6 p.m. The cost for six lessons is $12.
