Show i yy j- n I i : if if ith'filPl - ; il - ' ' ! i SPECIAL WINTER OLYMPICS Utah Special Winter Olympics championships will be held this year at the Bountiful Recreation Center on Jan. 28 and 29. Finals in skiing ski-ing will be staged the following day at Beaver Mountain near Logan. It will be the first year for ice skating in the Utah Winter Olympics and there will be approximately 200 participants. All ice skating rinks in Utah (except Ogden's which is under renovation) will be utilized. There will be speed skating and free style skating events and volunteers are urged to call Colleen Sessions, 295-8665, to assist with training. Meanwhile, Utah Special Olympics has made a bid for the International Winter Olympics for 1985 at Park City. Local par ticipants in the Utah Special Olympics are: front.
