Show IX Cat Ghm men will challenge Granite at 7:30. That will be at home, so mosy on down and watch. That's all for now - so Ciao! By CHERYL COX Well, weren't those dear holidays holi-days just festive? Yes, I do believe that they were. Now though, they are over and again we must face that rough, ugly world. (Pretty scary, huh?) THOSE DEAR little Wildcat men just were so excited to get back into the action that they couldn't even wait until school started again. That's right, our sophomore basketball team has a game Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 10 a.m. For this end of the year event, Clearfield will make the exciting journey down to our blessed little WX. If the holidays are getting quite drab(and even if they're not), come down and see the game. (Do you think we can u . juily wake up that early? Before noon even? I don'( '-now about tha'u As we welcome in Wednesday, we also welcome in the new year. Welcome 1986! This is going to be the best year ever. Why, you ask? Well, because certain tired and deserving de-serving personages will finally, after af-ter years and years of suffering, graduate! It's about time. THURSDAY we will once again enter in those beautiful Wildcat doors and return to the dull grind of every-day school life. It won't be so bad though, because I'm sure that as we enter, Mr. Allen, our fearless leader will greet us with that winning smile. It's so beautiful, beauti-ful, it almost brings tears to my eyes to even think about it. You know how it always takes a little time to get back into the old routine? Well not for our wonderful wonder-ful Wildcat swim team. They will have their first meet of the new year on Thursday at 2:30. At this time, I don't quite know who their competition will be but I'm sure they'll continue their tradition of excellence. Good luck swimmers! FRIDAY will be the end of our first half-week of the new year. That's pretty special, I do believe. Do you happen to know what makes 1986 so darn neat? Nobody's No-body's ever had it before! It's just spankin' new to all of us! We'll start a new trend and everyone will want one of their own, but oh well, we have to share. Friday our lady-cats will travel to American Fork for a basketball game at 4. Good luck ladies! But that's not all for basketball. Our |
