Show COMMUNITY CHURCH NEWS The Junior Service at 11 a. in. will have a set of slides, pro bably the set entitled, "American "Amer-ican Shrines with New Neighbors," Neigh-bors," dealing with some of the most interesting historical spots in America. All boys and girls are welcome. The morning worship service at 11 o'clock will include a special spe-cial number of music. The min ister will preach. At the close of the worship a short meeting of the Official Board be held. The Young People's Sociey will enjoy a picnic supper below Copper'on this evening (Thursday). (Thurs-day). The group will leave the church building at about six o'clock. The Preparatory Membership Class will not meet on Friday of ' his week but will hold a special spe-cial session on the following Friday. Members of the Emanon club entertained at a "Surprise Show-or" Show-or" Friday evening at the home -jf Mrs. A. C. Larick, honoring Miss Alta Acord, a June bride. The members s'aged a mock wedding which produced a great deal of fun. The guests were seated at one long table which was most attractive in its color-scheme color-scheme of pink and yellow. A miniature bride and groom standing on a huge pink heart ivna in the rpnt.pr rf iha tnhto Streamers of yellow, ribbon ex tended from the heart to tiny bridesmaids, dressed n pink and yellow, which were at each place and server as favors. Pink princess candles were at each end of the table and bowls of pink and white snap dragons were the flowers used. Tiny umbrellas were used as place cards. In one corner of the room a large umbrella, attractively attrac-tively decorated in pink, was suspended, and to this the shower show-er gifts were tied with yellow ribbon. Places were marked for the guest of honor, Mrs. R. G. Frazir, Mrs. Horace H. Higgs, Mrs. H. C. McShane, Miss Vern Raer, Miss Jennie Buchman, Mrs. Will Trevarthen, Mrs. Ren Nichols, Mrs. Rex Tripp, Mrs. Te Jones, Mrs. Archie Clark, Mrs. O. S. Jensen, Mrs. Paul Richards, Mrs. H. R.
