Show ' Ballard Ellen Bracken Jolene Bryce, of Bountiful, nas been visiting at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Xavier Bellon. , Sunday School faculty meeting meet-ing was held August 15 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kettle. Arthur Eliot, of Salt Lake City, was in Alterra one day last week seeking a house to rent during the coming school year. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Bracken and small son, of Salt Lake City, were guests several days last week of Karl's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bracken. Clara Stola, daughter of Mrs. Erna Stolla, had her tonsils removed re-moved Aug. 15 at the Roosevelt hospital. Ensign Clark and Frank Bingham Bing-ham spent last weekend with relatives and friends in Salt Lake City. The M.I.A. special interest group met August 14 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Lundberg. Mrs. Ralph Labrum, a visitor for several months in Salt Lake City and the Uintah Basin, has returned to her home in Los Angeles. She spent several davs here with her brother, E. C. Coston, and family, before re- turning home. The M.I.A. Junior and Gleaner Glean-er girls met Aug. 14 at the home of Shanna Bellon. Mr. and Mrs. Xavier Bellon attended the wedding of their granddaughter, Sherre L y n n e Bryce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bryce, of Bountiful, Aug. 12 in Salt Lake City. Arvin Bellon, Bel-lon, who drove his parents to Salt Lake, also attended the wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wis-l Wis-l combe attended the annual Uinta Uin-ta Basin Reunion Aug. 13 in Salt Lake City. They met many former friends and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Erold Wiscombe, of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Simpson, of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wiscombe, Wis-combe, of Morgan. Mr. and Mrs. George Bracken Brack-en and son, Lynn, Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle and family, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Bracken and son, of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bracken, Roosevelt, enjoyed a fishing trip Sunday to Big Springs in Uinta canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Jenkins and family spent a shore vacation vaca-tion last week in Salt Lake. Mrs. Leland Angus,. Mrs. Angus An-gus Anderson, and Mrs. Jesse Butcher made a business trip to Vernal, Monday. The Primary held its regular festival Aug. 16 at the chapel. Ercil Bingham called Sunday on his father, Charles Bingham. Mrs. Elsie Secrest and three children, of Moab, and Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Showell and two children, of Salt Lake City, visited vis-ited recently at the S. B. Kettle home. |
