Show Mrs. Marvin Stewart, daughter of Mrs. Wm. H. Ruppel, Jr., is in the Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City receiving medical treatment. treat-ment. Dick Weiss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Weiss underwent an emergency emer-gency operation at the St. Mark's Hospital Sunday. Reports are that he is getting along fine. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Mar-vin Oldroyd and their daughter, Peggy Wright, last weekend were Mr. and Mrs. John W. Wright, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Staker and Mrs. Pearl Peterson, all of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Wiscombe and son, Johnny of Provo, spent the weekend in Roosevelt with relatives and friends. Noel Rees has been released from duty with the' U. S. Marines. He has been stationed at Camp Pendleton, Calif, and has now returned re-turned to his home in Roy, Utah. He has enrolled for spring quar ter at Weber College. The T?e;inie Schm,et; and Paul Stringham families spent Sunday at their cabins in Uinta Canyon preparing them for summer outings. out-ings. Mrs. Venil P. Johnson was called' to Ogden Sunday, due to the death of her sister, Fern Rose Evans, Ev-ans, who died from a heart ailment. ail-ment.
