Show Baptists To Hear Visiting Kansas Minister Members of the Roosevelt Baptist church will haye an opportunity op-portunity to meet and hear the Rev. William G. Trow, of Elmo, Kansas, the next two Sundays, April 22 and 29, who is coming to the Basin to investigate the probability of becoming the regular reg-ular pastor in this community. According to Harold Dillman, lay member of the Baptist church, Rev. Trow will speak at two sessions on the two Sundays, Sun-days, 11 a. m. and 8 p. m. Arrangements Ar-rangements are also being made for him to appear at the Gusher Gush-er Union church on Monday and Tuesday evenings at 7:30, and in Myton at the Presbyterian church on Thursday and Friday, April 26 and 27. He will also address a prayer meeting in Roosevelt on Wednesday at 7:30 p. m. Rev. Trow is a married man and has two children, a boy 4 and a daughter 3, who. along with his wife, will accompany him to the Basin. To date no commitment has been made by either the minister minis-ter or' the local Baptist congregation congre-gation that they have a replacement replace-ment for Rev. Charles Ray, who resigned several weeks ago to preside over the East Carbon Car-bon parish at Dragerton. A special invitation is extended extend-ed all in the area to meet and hear Rev. Trow at the various places where he will speak. |
