Show Mrs. Garda Seeley SERVICES HELD FOR ACCIDENT VICTIM Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning in the Bluebell Blue-bell chapel for Clyde H. Goodrich, Good-rich, who was killed early Sunday morning in a car accident. Bishop Earl Murray conducted the services. ser-vices. ' Prayer was offered at the home by Leslie B. Goodrich; first song was by the Bluebell chorus, Shana Lee Winkler, Udell Winkler, Wink-ler, Bessie Lisonbee, Daphine and Garth Remington, who sang, "Shall We 'Meet Beyond The River;" invocation in-vocation was offered by President Leon Burton; vocal duet by Bennie Schmiett and Lacy Fitzgerald; first speech was by President Bernard Winkler; duet, "Just Why I Suffered Loss," by Challiss Caldwell Cald-well and Glade Sowards, accompanied accomp-anied by Mrs. Bryson; second speaker, President William Broth-erson;, Broth-erson;, duet, "Beyond Today," by Shana Lee and Udell Winkler; bendiction, by Udell Winkler. Burial was in the Bluebell ceme-tary ceme-tary with James I. Bird dedicating the grave. ' Pallbearers were Kenneth Ken-neth Goodrich, Loren Goodrich, Billie Powell, Ronnie Goodrich, Gary Jessen and George Chapman. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murray went to Altonah Saturday to attend funeral services for Jim Timothy. COME TO FUNERAL Some of the many friends and relatives attending funeral services of Clyde H. Goodrich and visiting here Wednesday from out of the Basin were Mr.' and Mrs. Ray Gagon, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Max Allred, Mrs. Jenny Wathen of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Max Owen and Mr. and Mrs. John Thorsen of Murray, Mrs. Veda Smith of' Bountiful, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Goodrich and Mrs. LaRene Kimball of Price, Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Stone of Lehi, Mrs. Edith Colton of Sandy and Mrs. Alice Howells of Orem. PINK AND BLUE SHOWER Mrs. Paul Bird was on honored guest at a Pink and Blue shower given Tuesday of last week at the ward chapel by Mrs. Belle Bird and Mrs. Verna Bird. The afternoon after-noon was spent in playing games and enjoying the ice cream and cookies served to a large crowd of ladies. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Winkler and Shana Lee and Chad spent Saturday and Sunday in Ogden and Laketown visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Todd and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Duke and their families. Udell Winkler spent Friday in Salt Lake City and Provo. Mrs. Laura Seeley spent Saturday Sat-urday afternoon visiting at the Azel Seeley home in Ballard. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Lisonbee and family of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Hosea Lisonbee 'of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Winkler and family of Vernal visited vis-ited here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Monsen and boys visited a short time here on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Goodrich. The Monsens moved from Altamont Saturday to Vernal, where they will make their home. Their son, Grant, will stay here with his grandparents to continue his schooling. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jenkins went to Ogden Wed. to attend funeral services for Thomas Van Noy, 69. Mr. Van Noy married Margaret Hamaker. a sister of Mrs. Sam Jenkins. |
