Show Dewey Murray Is Home Off Mission Elder Dewey Murray, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Murray, arrived ar-rived home, Saturday afternoon, after spending two years in the Northern States Mission field. He was released Nov. 7 at Carbon-dale, Carbon-dale, Illinois and had labored most of the two years in Davenport, Iowa and southern Illinois. He represented the Myton ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. He presented a report of his mission at the sacrament meeting Sunday evening at the Myton ward chapel. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Monks and children who have been living at the Monks ranch near Hayden, Colo, during the summer months, arrived home Wednesday. They will, spend the winter at their ranch home on South Myton bench. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Monks and family also came from their Colo, stock ranch and were guests at the home of Mrs. Monks' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Thomas Sr. for a few days. They are moving into the home of Mrs. George Funk, where they will reside during the winter months. Others who came from the Monks ranch were Mr. and Mrs. Don Burris Jr. and baby. They are now settled in the J. W. Jensen house and will remain here for the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Giles and children also returned and at present are residing at the home of Mrs. Giles' parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Harris. TAKEN TO HOSPITAL Mrs. W. R. Harris was taken ill suddenly last week and rushed to the RooseveLt hospital. She is gradually improving according to latest reports, but is still confined to the hospital. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Yergensen during the past week were Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Rhoades and two children of Salt Lake. Mrs. Rhoades is the former Ruth Borg, a sister of Mrs. Yergensen. Morris Buckwalter who has been attending to duties at his ranch near Myton and visiting his tenants, ten-ants, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hadden, Left Friday for his home in Le-Grand, Le-Grand, Oregon. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Thomas Sr. left Friday evening for Salt Lake and then went by plane Saturday morning to visit their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Far-rell Far-rell Purcell and family in Eureka, Calif. They will spend Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing in Calif, and return home Late in the week. During Mrs. Thomas' absence from her class rooms at the Myton Elementary School, Mrs. Milton Nielson will be in charge. Don Rawson came from Salt Lake City Saturday, to spend the weekend at he home of Mr. and Mrs.' LaVor Dennis and get his wife and daughter who have been visiting her parents during the past week. He was accompanied by Mr. and -Mrs. Bill Burke and Mr. and Mrs. Don Willard and the group joined in the game bird hunt while here. Mrs. N. L. Peterson who has been confined to the Roosevelt Hospital was sufficiently improved to be returned home Sunday. |
