Show Bra, .UrUmn-.M Gordon Eldredge left Tuesday to return to Dixie College after spending spend-ing Christmas with his family. He t will leave with the Dixie basketball basket-ball team Wednesday for San Bernardino Ber-nardino to play in a three-day Jr. College tournament. Robert Chapoose and Ernie Domgaard, Dixie College students, are enjoying the holidays with parents and friends. Spending Christmas in Roosevelt with relatives were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harmston and family of Moab. Howard, Jr. is staying a week with his' grandparents.' Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Harmston. Also here for the holidays were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Harmston of Craig, Colo. ' Pete Padia, of Lander, Wyoming, spent Christmas with his family, returning Wednesday to Lander, where he is employed. Corp. Melvin Lio Atwine also spent the holidays with the Padias, returning Tuesday to Texas where he is stationed. . John Ruppel, student at the University Un-iversity of Utah, arrived home Christmas - eve for the' holidays. Dick Ruppel left Wednesday morning morn-ing for a tour with the Wasatch Academy basketball team. Leaving Tuesday for their home in Ed'son, Alberta. Canada, were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Stroup, who spent the Christmas holiday with Mrs. Stroup's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Angus. Mr. and Mrs. Angus, accompanied by Mrs. Cecil. Mitchell, took the Stroups to Salt Lake City to catch their plane. Mrs. Garth Gardner and daughter daugh-ter are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Stewart. Mrs. Marion Moore of Salt Lake City spent the Christmas holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Farre'll Wilkins. Mr. Wilkins accompanied ac-companied her to Salt Lake Monday Mon-day morning for a medical, checkup. check-up. Mr. and Mrs. George B. Wallace and daughter, Joan, of Price, spent the Christmas holidays at the C. N. Memmott home. Joan remained for a week's visit, her parents returning re-turning home Tuesday morning. Dr. and Mrs. Paul G. Stringham, accompanied by Mrs. Stringham's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Breit-enbach Breit-enbach of Madison, Wilconsin, left Tuesday for a week's vacation to Las Vegas and California, The Breitenbachs enjoyed Christmas at the' Stringham residence. Mr. and Mrs. George Hacking and daughter, Mary Ellen, plan to leave Sunday for Parker, Arizonia, where they1 will visit with the E. Floyd Ross family. They also plan to visit relatives in California during dur-ing their week's vacation. Mrs. Alice Billings went to Vernal Ver-nal Christmas day to visit for a month with her daughter, Mrs. Emma Collett. Mrs. Billings is the mother of Mrs. George Taylor, Mr. and Mrs1. Louis Laris were hosts Sunday at a lovely turkey dinner, inviting Mr. and Mrs. Parley Rawlings and Mrs. LaRue Laris and family as guests. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Gardner and family of Provo were Roosevelt visitors Monday and Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Anthon' B. Chris-tensen Chris-tensen and son, Douglas, accompanied accom-panied by LaValene Done'gan, were business visitors in Provo from Sunday to Tuesday. |
