Show Rallison Joins Roosevelt SCS Robert E. Rallison, a civil engineer en-gineer form Logan, entered on duty with the Soil Conservation Service at Roosevelt, effective October 3. Mr. Rallison graduated from USAC and has a B. S. degree in civil engineering. During the summer of 1948, he worked with Dr. Israelson in connection with canal and ditch lining experiments. ex-periments. Mr. Rallison will assist Grant E. Chugg, work gToup engineer, with the engineering phase of the Soil Conservation program. The engineering phases of the Soil Conservation program which Mr. Rallison will work on are staking, land leveling, laying out farm irrigation systems, sys-tems, staking farm and ranch ponds, supervising the construction construc-tion of various canal and diversion diver-sion structures, and making irrigation ir-rigation tests to determine proper, pro-per, lengths of runs. |
