Show Turpin, Fish And Game Director, Decides To Resign Unon "appointment of the most suitable man we can find to take over the job,". R. L. Turpin. Tur-pin. Utah fish and game director, direct-or, will resign from -his position, posi-tion, the state fish and game commission announced Monday evening1. Commission chairman, George H. Harrison, of Roosevelt, said. "We are not appointing anybody any-body until we have had an opportunity op-portunity to make a thorough study of the field. Turpin will remain as director until a suitable suit-able successor is found." Turpin will be retained in the department in his former ca-'pacity ca-'pacity of coordinator of Pitt-man-Robertson federal aid to wildlife projects, the commission commis-sion said. In addition he will be connected with tasks concerning allotment of federal aid to fisheries fish-eries money under the recently passed Dingcll bill. |
