Show Bluebell Mrs. Garda Seeley Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Murray, Mur-ray, of My ton visited relatives here on Sunday. President and Mrs. Bernard Winkler, Mrs. Lois Goodrich, Mrs. Verona Goodrich, Mrs. Cle-ona Cle-ona Remington, Mrs. Garda Seeley, James Bird and Wm. O. Larsen were among those attending correlation meeting Sunday at Mt. Emmons. Mr. and Mrs. Bernis Bristol i are the proud parents of a baby girl born Friday at the Roosevelt hospital. Both mother and babe are getting along very nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bird announce the marriage of their son, Leo, to Miss Melvera Cook, daughter of Mrs. Ina Cook, of Bluebell. The school house is undergoing under-going some very badly needed re pair work this week. Men are fixing the roof and digging a drain for the water. Evan Goodrich is now home after serving a year in the Army. He spent about six months overseas stationed at Okinawa. He will receive his discharge the latter part of the month. Evan and his wife and baby visited, this week with Evan's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodrich. Mrs. Tal Bird was honored at a miscellaneous shower on Friday afternoon. The time was spent in playing games. Light refreshments were served to a-bout a-bout thirty guests.. Mrs. Bird received many beautiful and useful gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Bird will make their- home in Bluebell Blue-bell where Tal runs a garage. A large crowd from here attended at-tended the Senior Hop at Al-tamont Al-tamont Friday night. A feature pf the evening was the lovely floor show presented by the senior class. Seniors from here included LaWana Murray, Beth Winkler, Carma Goodrich and Ada Mathews. |
