Show Utah Herefords Judged Tops At California Show j Members of the Utah Hereford Association carried away top honors at the Red Bluff. Cali-ornia Cali-ornia Show and Sale held Feb. 7. 8 and 9. Jensen Bros, of Logan, 1 Utah showed the Grand Champion Cham-pion Bull. Peterson Bros, of Og-; den showed the Reserve Cham-' pion Pen of Five Bulls, and Win-tcrton Win-tcrton Bros, of Kamas, Utah showed the Reserve Champion Pen of Females. Many favorable comments were made by the range men throughout the west concerning the outstanding cattle and of the rugged high quality shown by Utah Breeders. It is being generally acknowledged where-ever where-ever Utah cattle have shown in recent years that they have had extraordinary progress and their winnings in these shows have proved their value in comparison with the cattle of other states. Cattle exhibited at the Red Bluff Show were from Calif., Ore., Colo., Utah, Mont., and Nevada. Utah Hereford is preparing for a sale to be held at Richfield. Feb, 22, and another at Cedar City, on March 15. The breeders throughout the state are looking forward to two outstanding events in these above mentioned sales and will offer approximately approximat-ely 150 head of cattle for'the needs of the cattle breeders throughout the state. The cattle are all being carefully graded and nothing but animals of the highest quality will be offered. This is to insure the mainlance of . a good reputation on the part of the breeders of Purebred Here-! ford cattle in the state of Utah. I Colonel II. B. Sapors of Boze-man, Boze-man, Montana, will be the auc-; tinnorr for the Richfield Sale, assisted as-sisted by Ross Miller, of the Hereford Here-ford Journal.
