Show sXSXSXS5XSXSXSX5XSXSX3XS Leeton-Bennett 5XSXSXSX2X2XSS2 Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bigelow of Lapoint were visitors at the home of Mrs. Ray Houston who is Mrs. Bigelow's sister. Mrs. Russell Harrison and small daughter of Salt Lake City spent the week end at the Houston home and returned with Mr. and Mrs. Bigelow to Lapoint to visit for a few days. Wayne Hamaker returned to his work outside after spending two weeks with his family here. His brother, Weston accompanied accompan-ied him to find employment. Mrs. Fern Houston of White-rocks, White-rocks, was visiting at the home of her son, Ray Houston Mon- day. Relief Society was held Tuesday Tues-day at the home of Mrs. M. E. Hamaker. It was work day and the ladies cut and pieced quilt blocks. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Taylor of Leeton attended the dance and party given for Mr. Taylor's brother, Martin who is home on furlough with his new bride. ' Mr. and Mrs. Alton Johnson, ' now of Bennett anounce the ar-I ar-I rival of a baby boy born Janu-i Janu-i ary 10. Mr. Johnson is the i principal of the Ft. Duchesne i school. Mr. and Mrs. John Bolton and sons, Byron and Lorraine, went to Vernal Monday to attend a turkey dinner given in honor of Mrs. Bolton's father, John Mc-Kowen Mc-Kowen of Naples. Mr. McKowen is eighty-three. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wheeler of Whiterocks were in Leeton I Tuesday. Mr. Wheeler was inspecting in-specting the canal. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Knoble and son, Jerry of Salt Lake, were visitors at the home of Mr. Knoble's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Whitlock and Mr, and Mrs. Les Taylor. They re-. re-. turned home where both are employed in defense work. Mr. and Mrs. Evans' Phillips of Whiterocks spent Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Whitlock. |
