Show &sxsxsxsxsxsxs BLUEBELL Jackie Bird, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bird had the misfortune to crush the bone in his big toe, by a pole falling on it. He was rushed to Roosevelt for medical treatment. Miss Alice Snyder of Altonah was an overnight guest of Miss Fay Lisonbee on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Hosca Lisonbee and John Goodrich were Duchesne business visitors Monday. Sherman Anderson left Monday Mon-day for Salt Lake Citv to receive his physical examination. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hancock and two children, Helen and Buddy of Pleasant Grove were visiting friends and relatives here Sunday. Ervin Bird is home on a ten day furlough. Ervin is serving in the navy. Bluebell was honored to have Major and Mrs. Sterling Merrils, former residents of Bluebell here visiting friends Tuesday and Wednesday. Wed-nesday. They spent the night with Sterling's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Winkler. Mrs. Mary Merrils of Salt Lake City-accompanied City-accompanied them here. Mrs. Merrils is the mother to Stcrl-and Stcrl-and Mrs. Winkler. Mr. and Mrs. Al Anderson and children of Altonah were visiting Mrs. Anderson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson Monday. Mrs. Ray ffiherning and ' two children of Salt Lake City spent the past week visiting her parent, par-ent, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Powell and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Warren and family of Upalco were Sunday guests of Mrs. Warren's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Cook. Mr. and Mrs. Harold White and children of Myton Bench were visiting Mrs. White's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. Garnet Birtchell and children visited her parents, Mr. and .Mrs. Leslie Goodrich a few days last week. Mr. Birtchell came after his family Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Alva Hancock and son, Glenn and Mrs. Martin Hancock left Friday for Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Alva Hancock will visit their daughter, Donna who has employment, and other relatives. Mrs. Martin Hancock will receive medical attention. Mr. and Mrs. Afton Seelev left for Salt Lake City where Afton has employment. Orie Cook hauled haul-ed part of their furniture out. Alma Richmond of Roosevelt, who is serving in the Navy, and was home on furlough was visiting visit-ing friends here Thursday evening, even-ing, Mr. Richmond was music instructor in-structor at Altomont last year. Orvil Hamilton of Tooele came after his wife and baby Saturday. Mrs. Hamilton has been visiting relatives here the past week and will be remembered as the former Gladys Murray. Earnest Morrison was a business bus-iness viisitor at Bluebell Tuesday last week. Mrs. Hazel Goodrich is in Price taking care of Miss Gladys Stevenson Stev-enson who is much better. Mrs. Reva Redden and Mrs. Arvella Potts of Upalco were visiting in Bluebell Saturday. Mrs. Robert A. Murray returned return-ed home Monday after spending the past two months visiting her children and families of Tooele. Mrs. William Telford, who has spent the summer in California, arrived home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith took Mrs. Stanley Bristol and son, Bruce to Salt Lake City for medical med-ical treatment. Bruce fell out of a tree atnd injured his neck. |
