Show Ogden Show Ready For Top Stock Exhibitors from 14 states will enter their prize cattle, sheep, and hogs in Ogden's 30th annual livestock show to be held November No-vember 13 to 17, a tabulation of entry notices showed. . More than 500 persons will De acuve during the five-day event, as exhibitors, consignors to the auction programs, or as buyers. Many thousands are expected ex-pected to visit the displays. Principle attractions include junior department contests in which more than 120 boys and girls are enrolled, displays of purebred Shorthorn, Hereford and Aberdeen-Angus cattle, carloads car-loads of fat and feeder cattle, fat and breeding sheep. The prize winners from those contests will be offered at auction in a series of sales opening November 15. Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming Wyo-ming and Colorado are well rep- resented in all phases of the program. Manager E. J. Fjeld-stcd Fjeld-stcd reported. One mission of the show is to enable stockmen to buy high quality breeding and feeder animals at a convenient con-venient location. An added attraction will be an exhibition of quarter horses November 14 and 15. |
