Show - Ttlt. Emmons Peggy Ann Case Mrs. Richard Lister has gone to Duchesne to spend a couple of weeks with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Lister. Carol Elliot and Anna Lee Thacker spent a couple of days last week in Salt Lake with Carol's family. The elementary teachers entertained en-tertained the high school teachers teach-ers at a turkey dinner and party, Monday evening, Feb. 14, in the high school building, Mrs. Evan Hansen was ill during dur-ing the past week and was un- able to attend school on Monday and Tuesday. Richard Orr is home for a short vacation after sending most of the winter on a construction con-struction job near Evanston, Wyoming. P. T. A. meeting was held Saturday evening. High School Supervisor Floyd Holm, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, spoke on the Psychology of the Adolescent. The Upalco mothers served refreshments. Ben Gomm and his seminary students presented programs in several of the wards of the stake, Sunday. At the Mt. Emmons ward sacrament meeting, Theil Gomm conducted the exercises, and with Carol Elliott and Mary Beth Thacker, gave talks. Mary I Beth and Anna Lee Thacker sang "If I knew You and You Knew Me." Mr, and Mrs. Lynn Hansen and baby daughter, of Provo, spent the weekend with Lynn's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon Hansen. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Murray, of Myton, visited Saturday and Sunday with Mrs. Murray's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers. Rog-ers. Other visitors at the Rogers' home on Sunday were the Cliff Lisonbcc family, of Bluebell. Several of the teachers took advantage of the improved weather conditions to make trips to outside points over the weekend. week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Paulsen Paul-sen and son. and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Phillips and children went to Logan and Salt Lake. Coach Hal Barton went to Salt Lake with the coach from Tab-iona. Tab-iona. Mrs. Olive Thompson of the home economics department, and daughters. Alvornia and Ellie, spent the weekend in Layton. Stake Sunday School Superintendent Super-intendent Lawrence Ward and board members. Mrs. Mary Snyder, Sny-der, Mrs. Edythe Hansen and Mrs. Rita Hansen presented a teaching demonstration at the Boneta Sunday school, Sunday. 1 |
