Show ARCADIA &XXSXSXSSX5XSX5 A party was held for Lt. Kenneth Ken-neth Zirker Wednesday night at the Arcadia ward house. Refreshments Re-freshments were served and a program and dancing were enjoyed en-joyed by those present. Kenneth left Saturday morning for the west coast. Garn Gilbert, Miss Barbara Lusty, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Gill went hunting. Mrs. Eliza J Gilbert and grandson, Lavoy Moore were week end visitors at the home of her son, John Gilbert in Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Max Bell was visiting in Arcadia Ar-cadia this week. Gordon Shields, Jack and Daryl Josie, George Merrit, Max and Lynn Ross have gone deer hunting. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford McKen-na McKen-na of Arcadia have moved to Roosevelt into the Anderson ap-partments ap-partments for the winter. Alvin and Sterling Sagers and Steve Rogers of Salt Lake City were visiting friends and relatives in Arcadia Sunday. Jack Gilbert went to Salt Lake City to take his physical examination for the service. Jennings Solmonsen brought back a buck from hunting. Mrs. Bob Kieser of Salt Lake City is visiting with her mother, Mrs. Ray Gill while her husband and father are deer hunting. Mr. and Mrs .Cyle Gill also accompanied accom-panied them on the trip. Delmar Ross has been gathering gather-ing cattle this week. Mr. and Mrs. Porter Merrill of the Stake Presidency were Arcadia Ar-cadia ward visitors Sunday at Sacrament meeting. Wanless Shields, Marion Ross and Willard Dearden left Monday Mon-day morning to bring their cattle cat-tle down from the range. Keith Farnsworth and the Misses Bernice Farnsworth and Rhea Wing were visiting Wayne Shields Sunday. Frank Myers, Jr., was operated operat-ed on at the Roosevelt hospital for a ruptured appendix this week. Bill Horrocks of Roosevelt was visiting his grandmother, Mrs. Eliza Gilbert Wednesday night. Word has been received by Mrs. Marion Richens that her husband, Marion L. Richens is missing in action in Italy. |
