Show ! Tridell I Mrs. C. E. Merkley Mrs. Pearl Wooley, Mrs. Pres-Iton Pres-Iton Atwood and Mrs. Roy At-wood At-wood left Wednesday for Bingham Bing-ham Canyon and Salt Lake. Mrs. Wooley remained in Salt Lake to receive medical care. Mrs. Roy Atwood's two grandchildren, LeRoy and Jenniel" Cunleff, returned re-turned with her to spend a few weeks. Tuesday evening at Mutual, John Woolf gave an interesting Art demonstration, which was enjoyed by all. Miss Grace Morrill, who is em-i em-i ployed at the Roosevelt hospital, has spent the past week visiting with relatives and friends at Tridell. I Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lyman, of Salt Lake City, were visitors at I the Geo. H. Bartlett home during ,the week. j Mrs. Howard Gee, of Salt Lake City, spent a week visiting at the home of her sister, Mrs. Deveon Ross. Mr. Gee joined her jhere Friday and they left Saturday. Sat-urday. j The D.U.P. meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Reed Mc-Kee, Mc-Kee, Thursday. Mrs. Viva Goodrich Good-rich gave the lesson. Mrs. Elizabeth Eliza-beth Morrell read a history of her husband's grandfather and Mrs. Keren McKee read a poem. A delicious luncheon was served j Kenneth Squires, of Roosevelt, I spent the weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Cook. Ralph Morrill arrived home during the week. He has been attending the U.S.A.C. at Logan. Mrs. Von Simper and two children, chil-dren, of Vernal, are visiting with Mrs. Simper's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Davis Morrill. I I The Fireside Chat for the Mi I Men and Gleaners was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam K. Harvey with Joyleen Curtis taking charge of the meeting. meet-ing. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley Merk-ley discussed their missionary experiences. Doris Preece, Veda McKee and Dallis Morrill helped with the refreshments. Doris Preece made a trip to Salt Lake City last Friday. Mrs. Mignon Moosman taught the 1st and 2nd grades during her absence. ab-sence. Mrs. James Trujillo and son, Allen, made a weekend trip to Salt Lake to visit with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Nelson. Barbara Morrill helped in the school cooking kitchen during Mrs. Tru-jillo's Tru-jillo's absence. |
