Show ALTONAH j (Mrs. Ethel Beebe) Dave Carroll was operated on Wednesday in the L. D. S. hospital hos-pital in Salt Lake City. His wife accompanied him to the city. Mrs. Dave Farnsworth, of Mt. Home, spent Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Farnsworth. Bishop and Mrs. Lester Maxwell Max-well were in Roosevelt on business busi-ness Wednesday. The Altonah Mutual held its opening social Tuesday night in the ward hall. Dancing was enjoyed. en-joyed. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Corbin made a trip to Rock Creek. Ted Young went with them to bring their belongings in his truck. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Clark and family, of Meeker, Colorado, spent a fe.w days with relatives and friends last week. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Turnbou and family, of Keeley, spent a few days at the home of Mrs. Turnbou's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alhr Clark. Mellwood Wall, of Layton, visited vis-ited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe last week. Glen Anderson was operated on for aoDendicitis at the Roosevelt Roose-velt hospital Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith and daughter, Barbara, spent the weekend visiting relatives in Sonne Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Ar-vel Ar-vel Stone and sons, of Duchesne, accompanied them. Lewis Wall, of Salt Lake City, was in Altonah visitin friends during the week. Mr. Wall is a former resident of Altonah. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lucas left Saturday for Washington, where Mr. Lucas will be employed employ-ed for the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Brown and son moved to Provo Saturday. Satur-day. The Browns have been living liv-ing in Altonah the past summer while Mr. Brown has been pm-nlovfd pm-nlovfd by the government in this region. Wm. Fieldsted, of Bnneta, was an Alonah visitor Fridnv. Jack Fisher arrived home Thursdav with his d'ehar?e charge from the Army. Jack has been serving in the F"ropean Theater for several months. Mrs. Dallas Ames and Mrs. Austin Beebe were Roosevelt shooers Saturdav. Mrs. GMbe.rt Beebe fave a birthday dinner Sunday in honor of her daughter, Barbara's 15th birthday anniversary. Those resent were Anna Fae Ames, T.nla Bel1 Farnsworth, Dorothy Barn;. Frank Bebe. and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert. Beebe. A number of Altonah men attended at-tended priesthood meeting at Mt.
