The small son of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Lemon has been quite sick but he is able to be around again. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Stott, of Payson, visited their aunt, Mrs. Zelma Lloyd,' Wednesday and Thursday. Mr. Stott has just returned re-turned from Europe, where he served in the armed forces. Mrs. Ruth Loury and children visited Mrs. Eva Percival Tuesday Tues-day afternoon. Marva Rae Drolc, of Craig, Colorado, visited over the weekend week-end with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Timothy. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Drollinger and Reed Lemon visited Allen Drollinger, Wednesday. . Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Wall visited vis-ited Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd. Mrs. Zina Krebs and daughter, Velma, also a daughter and son-in-law and small daughter, were Ioka visitors Sunday with Mrs Krebs' sister, Mrs. Celia A Jones. James L. Solomonson, of Arcadia, Ar-cadia, visited Hugh Percival Saturday Sat-urday on some business. Mrs. Byron Pace, of Mt. Heme, visited with her mother last week. She returned home Wednesday. Wed-nesday. M.I.A. officers held a meeting m the ward house Tuesday to make preparations for the year's work. Mutual will begin Tuesday. Tues-day. Mrs. Geaneva Carruth returned return-ed from the hospital Monday with her small son. ,,T1?e fficers of the Primary, Mane Benson, Enid Nelson, Hazel Ha-zel Wall, held a meeting Thursday Thurs-day night at the home of the secretary, Mrs. Eva Percival T. R. Cope, of Salt Lake City, was visiting friends here Monday. Mon-day. Mr. Cope completed a mission mis-sion for the L. D. S. church in California and is now located in Salt Lake City. Eda Bee, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival, was burned badly on her legs Saturday morning when hot chocolate was spilled on her The m. I. A. held the opening social Friday night under the lrecon of recreation leaders. Hugh Percival and Murel Gines Games, singing and a quiz stunt were the features. Those winning prizes were Paul Lemon, Ned Gines, Arnold Webb and Eva Percival. Mr and Mrs. M. J. Benson went to Salt Lake City, Sunday to attend the testimonial of their son, Jessie Benson, who leaves to fill a mission for the L. D. S. church in the Eastern States. Ronald Benson and James Bacon, of Roosevelt, were visitors vis-itors at Sacrament meeting Sunday. Sun-day. Leo Merrell arrived by plane to attend his grandfather's birthday birth-day celebration Sunday. The boys 4-H Club won 4th place at the State Fair. Wayne Ames had the misfortune misfor-tune of running a piece of steel in his arm. The small son of Mr. and Mrs Mario Wilkerson fell on a piece of glass and it was necessary to have two stitches taken. Dee Drollinger, son of Allen ' E. Drollinger, is on leave for 10 days from the Navy. He arrived home Sunday night. Rea Anderson, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Leland Anderson j fell from a horse Friday and broke her arm. 1 |
