We would like to see more active participation in boys' 4-II Club work. In a number of communities, j the boys have indicated a desire to organize and carry on club work, but we have been unable to obtain a qualified leader. Assistance As-sistance of parents, church and civic leaders is solicited in helping help-ing us to obtain competent leadership. lead-ership. In other, communities no requests have been made for the organization. Anyone interested in 4-H Club work should contact con-tact us. On Wednesday, May 12, Miss Shipley assisted in conducting a county school for lady 4-H leaders. lead-ers. The county was well represented repre-sented at this school during which the leaders' work was outlined in detail. There are a number .of girls' clubs which still do not have leaders to help them carry on their summer program. We also solicit the assistance of public spirited people in filling these positions. |
