Show College Offers Correspondence Courses For Vets The Utah State Agricultural college at Logan has been authorized author-ized by the Veteran's Administration Adminis-tration to give a series of correspondence corres-pondence courses to Utah G.I.'s who are anxious to further their education in the agricultural sciences, announces Otis L. Burton, Bur-ton, contact representative in charge of the Veteran's Administration Admin-istration office in Roosevelt. In making the announcement, Mr. Burton stated, "A number of veterans cannot avail themselves them-selves of the educational opportunities oppor-tunities offered them under the G.I. Bill of Rights or Public Law 16. but authorization to conduct correspondence courses such as the ones offered by the USAC should prove a boon to the veterans vet-erans who are unable to take residential college work." The correspondence work will embrace the latest findings and developments in practical farming farm-ing or ranching, and all expenses of the course will be paid by the government. Instructions are prepared pre-pared by the college's staff of i professors and research experts ' and include the same material taught to regularly enrolled 1 students. |
