Show NEOLA (Mrs Lecia Horrocks) SE3riSsxfr Yuleti3e activities in Neola got under way last Friday, with the elementary school presenting present-ing its annual Christmas program. pro-gram. All of the students from grades one to eight participated in plays, songs and dances. . 1 The gymnasium was appropriately approp-riately decorated by the pupils. Following the program dancing was enjoyed by those present. Sunday morning the Sunday School presented a program in lieu if the usual class work. The Ward's Christmas celebration celebra-tion was under the direction of Mrs. Ruth Jensen, who directed the decorating of the hall, as well as the program which was presented pre-sented Monday evening. A chil-d.rens chil-d.rens dance prececded the program pro-gram and Santa Claus appeared at the end of the evenings entertainment enter-tainment with bags of candy and nuts. Miss Reta Hutcheon who is attending at-tending the B Y U, is home for the holidays. Added to the ever-growing list of service men who are returning return-ing home are; Frank Malne.r. who was stationed in the Aleutian Aleu-tian Islands for several months: and Elden Anderton who is re ceiving Navytraining at San Diego. Di-ego. California. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Yack and family left Friday for California where they will spend a few weeks visiting relatives in various var-ious cities there. Mrs. Tal Wardle entertained a number of her friends at her home last Saturday evening. Bishop Rex L. Gardner has recently purchased a new Stude baker truck. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nelson were Sunday visitors at the Orrin Gardner home. Supt. Bond was a brief visitor at the Neola school last Friday. Mrs. Mary Malne.r announces the marriage of her dauehter, Rose, to Frank Johnson, of Belle-flower, Belle-flower, California. Rose, a graduate grad-uate of the Roosevelt high school has been employed in Los Angeles Angel-es for some time. ( George Leavitt left for his home in Salt Lake City last Tues day after spending a few days at his farmjiere, I Jay Larsen, Jr., of the U, S.
