Show JXSXSXSXSXSX5X3X2XS3 NEOLA (Mrs Lecla Horrocks) ' Mr. and Mrs. Glade Peterson brightened the New Year for Mr. Peterson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thad Wilkerson, by their timely arrival last week. Glade has been serving in the armed forces, and was recently discharged. Miss Reta Hutcheon has ac cepted a position in the Roosevelt State Bank. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Casto Mrs. Casto's mother, Mrs. Arilla spent the New Year here with Bastian. Miss Alyce Chasel, who is attending at-tending school at Price, spent the holidays here with her father, Jerry Chasel. Mrs. Neilson of Salt Lake City visited here last Thursday with her sister, Mrs. Lavina Roberts. Following the dance on New Years Eve, a group of young people were guests at the home of Neill Jensen, where they enjoyed en-joyed games and a waffle supper. Those present were NellieMiller, Maxine Gardner, Elma Ober hansley, Richard Larsen, Jay Horrocks, Garth Gardner, Beth Call of Arcadia, Buddy Kimball, Audrey Smith, Carl Wilkerson, Renee Gill of Arcadia, Wayne Bastain, Wendell Duncan, Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Gardner, Modena Horrocks, Oral Allred, Lynn Miller, Vir ginia Gardner, Elden Winn, Lawrence Law-rence Malner. and Clair Duncan, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Horrocks announce the recent marriage of 1 their son.Floyd, to Miss Dorothy Daws of Arkansas. The bridegroom bride-groom recently returned from overseas, where he served with the armed forces in France and Germany. The young couple will visit here for some time before Floyd returns to duty. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Whiting of Union were here to attend the funeral of Mrs. Anne West. Mrs. Forest Hancock who has been with her husband in various camps along the west coast, is staying at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Whiting, Whit-ing, until her husband receives his discharge. Mr. Otis Burton left last week for Provo, where he will resume his studies at the B.Y.U. He has received his discharge from the Marines. Dale Horrocks returned to Salt Lake City last Thursday, after visiting here with his parents. Mrs. Tal Wardle has received word from her husband that he has received his discharge from the Navy, and will be home within with-in a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wiscombc and children were guests at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Rex Gardner last Saturday evening. The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crozier was christened "Denton" in meeting last sunday. Mr. Heber T. Hall and Mr. El-dredge El-dredge of Roosevelt were visitors at Neola sacrament meeting last sunday. |
