Show sxssssxsxexs MYTON (Mrs. Emery Nielsen) Mrs. Jay Jenkins went to Oakland, Oak-land, California, Saturday to join her husband. Sgt. Fred Musser, son of F. S. Musser, was discharged a week ago. He came home Thursday and will leave January 31 for Las Vegas, Nevada. Fred spent most of his time in the service stationed station-ed in Hawaii. Pvt. Elic Nez, and friend Hayes Kewerling, are spending their furloughs with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Roberts. Those attending leadership meeting at Roosevelt Wednesday were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Roberts, Rob-erts, Mr. and Mrs. Afton Richens, and Mr. and Mrs. Syerl Dennis, i Mr. and Mrs. Vern Muse and Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Lisonbee attended at-tended the funeral of Neal Hanks Sunday, at Price. James Dalgleish, commander of the Department of the Utah American Legion left Monday for Salt Lake City to attend committee com-mittee meetings. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Lisonbee have purchased the Reymond Bingham home. Mr. and Mrs. Bingham and family left for Orem, Wednesday. Mr. Bingham will attend school. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lyman of Roosevelt and Mr. and Mx3. Kay Alexander of MIdvale were Sunday Sun-day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Perry. Mr. and Mrs. Fawn Pectol and family of California visited last week with Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Pectol. Mrs. Eva Gingell and small son went to Heber Saturday to receive medical aid. Mrs. Lawrence Merkley, Ada Fay Parrish and Lloyd Parrish visited Mr. and Mrs. H. Merkley of Jenson on Saturday. Kathleen returned home with them. Stanley Nielson and Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Perry went to Salt Lake City Wednesday and returned re-turned Saturday with a car. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish were guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. E, Kronquist at Ft. Duchesne Sunday evening. Mrs. L. P. Anderly went to Salt Lake City Monday. While there she will visit friends at ; Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ponton went to Salt Lake City Monday to visit vis-it relatives Mr. Ponton expects to be employed in Salt Lake City Mrs. Ponton will return here and stay with her parents until the children are out of school when she will join her husband.: Mrs. M. C. Adams had the misfortune mis-fortune to fall and break her ancle an-cle last Tuesday. Mrs. George Roth and Betty spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Koehler. They returned home with Mr. Roth Sunday evening. Fred Musser and son, Fred.Jr. were dinnec guests of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Urcsk on Friday. Miss Shirley Jenson of Roosevelt Roos-evelt was a week end guest of Mr. and Mr3. Wallace Woods. Mrs. Wm. Harris and Mrs. Wm. Koehler visited Wednesday with Mrs. S. A. Wells of Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bingham of Dragerton, enjoyed a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Vern Mus and Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Lisonbee Lison-bee Sunday night. They returned home Monday. |
