Show ALTONAH (Mrs. Ethel Bee be) The Altonah Ward held their reunion Friday night in the ward hall. Supper was served under the direction of the Relief Society, So-ciety, after which an interesting program was presented under the direction of the Mutual offic-prs offic-prs Also presented was a one act play, "The Wallflower Cuts In". The rest of the evening was spent dancing. The elementary school children and prc-school children enjoyed lunch and a children's dance in the afternoon with the Primary officers in charge. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Powell moved to Vernal Sunday where Mr Powell will drive a truck for the Stalie Coal Co.. While filling the radiator of his car before leaving Mr. Powell caight two fingers in the fan. The index fing- er was taken off at the first joint and his hand was badly cut. He stopped in Roosevelt for medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Ralphs are visiting at the home of Mr. ; Ralph's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ralphs. Roosevelt visitors from Altonah Alton-ah Monday were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Drue Allred, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Allred, Mrs. Dan Allred, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rochel, Preston Allen, Al-len, Mrs. Mary Bowden and son, Clinton, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert ' Beebe, Frank Beebe, Harold Ralphs and Fay Prows. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Miles of Mt. Emmons were shopping in town Tuesday. Aldon Carroll was transacting business in Bluebell Tuesday. A number of Altonah folks attended at-tended the shower and dance for Mr. and Mrs. James-Thacker in Mt. Emmons Tuesday night. The Les Shiner's are improving improv-ing their home by having brick siding applied. Jerald Jacobson accompanied Lon Dump and son, Charley, to Salt Lake City Tuesday where Mr. Dump and Jerald will receive re-ceive medical care. Albert Clark and Gilbert Chat-win Chat-win took a band of horses to Arcadia Ar-cadia to pasture Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Bowden of Gusher, former residents of Altonah, visited Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Mary Bowden. i Milton Anderson went to Heb-er Heb-er last week end and brought his wife and family home. Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Snyder left Tuesday to visit for a while in Salt Lake City and Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Reay took their son, Bobby, to Roosevelt Tuesday for medical care, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden and Mrs. Mary Bowden left for Salt Lake City Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith and daughters, Barbara, left Thursday for a two weeks visit with Mrs. Lillian Snyder and Mrs. LaRae Catcott in Pasadena, California. Mr. and Mrs. Les Shiner Shi-ner took them to Roosevelt to catch the bus. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Ralphs and son, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ralphs were in Roosevelt Thursday. Thurs-day. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Clark and family left Friday to spend the week end with relatives in Meeker, Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Mellwood Wall of Roy visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe. Mr. and Mrs. John Clark and family of the Big Bonanza mine stent the week end with Mr. Clark's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Clark. Those from Altonah attending |
