Show Myton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish A large crowd gathered at the Oasis dance hall Tuesday evening eve-ning to lend their support to the My ton baseball team, who sponsored spon-sored the dance. A floor show featuring a quartett of hula-hula dancers, members of the team, drew a big round of applause, while three sweet young ladies warbled appropriate songs. Mrs. Haydon Cooper held full sway at the microphone. Funds jaiscd by this endeavor will be used to purchase uniforms. Mrs. Grant Jones entertained for her small son, Tuesday afternoon af-ternoon to celebrate his eighth birthday anniversary. A jolly group of friends enjoyed games and refreshments and presented Gifts to their young host. Mrs. James Bywater and daughter, LaKee, and Margo Linck attended a birthday party at the O. A. Dart ranch Saturday Satur-day afternoon when Mrs. Dart entertained for her little granddaughter, grand-daughter, Glenna Dart. The Reliei Society of the L. D. S. church entertained at their annual party, Friday evening, at the ward chapel. A clever one-act one-act skit, "Ghost Town," with Mrs. Willard Smith reading the story while the cast enacted the plot; a floor show, composed of a Primary group of eight couples cou-ples dancing the Minuet, directed direct-ed by Mrs. Wilmer Murray; readings by Mrs. Howard Roberts Rob-erts and by Chester Mathison and a vocal quartet composed of H. L, Crapo, Sycrl Dennis, Clarence Clar-ence Liddcll and Leonard Harris, Har-ris, with Mrs' Syerl Dennis as accompanist, furnished entertainment entertain-ment in the early evening. A bazaar drew many to the Relief Society room to purchase the lovely items in handiwork that were displayed. Dancing and refreshments re-freshments were enjoyed at the close of the program.. An infant son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Orin Wilson, Tuesday, March 11th, at the Roosevelt hospital. hos-pital. Mr. and Mrs. Marvel Woods arc rejoicing over the arrival of a baby daughter, born Thursday, Thurs-day, March 13th, at the Roosevelt Roose-velt hospital. A baby daughter arrived Friday, Fri-day, March 14th, born to Mr. and Mrs. George Dodge at the Roosevelt Roose-velt hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Krebs, of Salt Lake City, are guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Harris. They arrived Friday to spend a few days enjoying old friends. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meranda, former Myton residents now living in American Fork, arrived arriv-ed Saturday to attend to their property interests here and to visit with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Krause, of Ft. Duchesne, visited with Mrs. Lydia Pcatross, Sunday, enroute from a business trip to Phoenix Arizona. Their small daughter, Karen, remained here with her grandmother during their absence. ab-sence. Mr and Mrs. W. R. Harris and Mr- and Mrs. Roland Kreks attended the wedding dance of Mr., and Mrs. Don Mecham and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Mecham at Mt. Emmons, Friday evening. Grove. Mrs. Earl Hardinger and two son, of Roosevelt, visited Thursday Thurs-day at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson. Mrs. Earl Gingcll and Mrs. Aften Richens enjoyed a visit from their father, T. R. Cope, of Salt Lake City. Mr. Cope spent Saturday and Sunday here. He- also visited another daughter, Mrs. LeNor Richens, in Arcadia, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Prcccc, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Harris, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Krebs, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Monks, Mr. and Mrs. Den-zel Den-zel Hemphill and Mrs. Charles Sands were a jolly parly who enjoyed a trip to Rangely, Colo. Sunday. Some of the party remained re-mained to attend a dance Monday Mon-day evening, while the others returned re-turned to Myton Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. George Roth and daughter, Betty, of Vernal, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koehler, Sunday. T5 Alvin Brummett, who has been visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Brummett, I left Saturday for Ft. Benning, Georgia.
