Show Complimentary Letter Received On Xmas Edition Mr. and Mrs. Geo. H. Harrison, Roosevelt Standard, Roosevelt, Utah Dear Mr. and Mrs. Harrison: "A copy of your Christmas issue is-sue has juct reached me. I am so delighted and interested in the contents and makeup of your paper that I'm hastening to send a note of congratulations to you for your excellent publication. Of special interest is your handling of the section devoted to pictures and stories of boys and girls in the service of their country. For this section alone the people of your county should owe you a debt of gratitude . . . I m sure they feel that way too. You are doing a fine service to the citizens of Duchesne county and subscribers outside county boundaries. If effort begets reward, re-ward, then your reward should be great. Your venture this year with a special Christmas issue deserves double commendation in face of labor shortages, paper shortages increased costs of supplies and uncertainties brought on by the war. Along with my commendations, commenda-tions, kindly accept my hearty wishes for a hopeful, prosperous and victorious New Year". Very truly yours, WILFORD D. PORTER |
