Show 12 Tons Of Salvage Paper To Be Shipped The paper drive sponsored by the local salvage committee in cooperation with the Roosevelt Elementary and Alterra High schools during the month of February, was reported by Mrs. Tina Wilkins, chairman, as most successful. The elementary school collected col-lected three tons of paper; the three cash prizes were won by Mrs. Mathew's fifth grade for collection of 1065 lbs, first prize; second prize, Mrs. Erickson's fourth grade, 671 lbs; third prize, Mrs. Walker's third grade, , 644 lbs. Four certificates of merit mer-it were awarded to 4th grade, Mrs. Winterton; 4th grade, Miss Jorgensen; 6th grade, Mrs. Murphy; Mur-phy; 7th grade, Principal Wilde. Two prizes were awarded at Alterra; Seniors first 2093 lbs; Freshies, second, 2010 lbs.; Sophs. 1322 lbs; Juniors, 1058 lbs. making a total of 6458 lbs. Mrs. Francis Horrocks supervised supervis-ed the Alterra drive. . Mrs. Wilford Whitlock of Lee-ton Lee-ton and Mrs. Sarah Neilson of Myton are doing a splendid job as chairman in their respective communities, reports Mrs. Wilkins. Wil-kins.
