One thing I like about this celebration cel-ebration isithat.they have included includ-ed all of the surrounding towns and have "'invited all of their "Queens" to participate. This makes for 'a feeling of friendliness friendli-ness which is so often laekip between neighbors. . . Another sign of co-operation I like is that all of the business places arc closing both afternoons. This gives everyone an opportunity to see the rodeo. This year's rodeo is to be the finest ever, having participants from our own part of the country coun-try makes it more interesting for us folk's. As I've; said before it looks like quite ; a . show and I'll be looking, for you there. I mentioned last week that summer had about departed from our part of the country and that was "no foolin'." With Labor Day ahd school, opening just ahead of us, it's not too early to think about our winter heating heat-ing and cooking. I know one couple who took my suggestion, because I overheard over-heard their conversation about ranges in McLea's store yesterday. yester-day. They were interested in no other range except a MONARCH and the story behind their in- sistancc was: Some years ago this lady and her new husband started house keeping and they bought, along with other items, a range. At the same time her mother also bought a range. The young couple didn't pay much attention to the kind they bought but the mother bought a monarch mon-arch and everybody was happy. Today this same couple is buying buy-ing a new Monarch because the stove they' originally bought has burned out and warped, while the one the mother bought is good as new. You women who want a new range and who know what a good one means to your cooking and convenience, insist that your husband buy you a Monarch. McLea's are the distributors and have a good stock on hand of either reservoir or water jacket types. Adv. ywfa i.-.. - -"n.. . , iiim !
