Show Bluebell Mrs. Garda Seeley Mr. and Mrs. Marian Barrett spent a few clays in Salt Lake last week. Mrs. Barrett's mother, Mrs. Clark, of Altonah, cared for the children while their parents par-ents were away. Mrs. Wardell left Monday for her home in Salt Lake after a month's visit with her daughter, Mrs. Zola Stevenson. President and Mrs. Bernard Winkler and family were among those attending: conference and the dedication of the Duchesne Stake and Ward chapel at Duchesne, Du-chesne, Sunday. Word comes from Bonanza that Mrs. Rulon Goodrich broke her leg recently in a fall. The senior Sunday school class enjoyed a sleighing party Thursday Thurs-day evening, under the direction of Bernard Winkler. In the party were Mr. and Mrs. Norman Goodrich, Wallace Stevenson. Carma and Ardis Goodrich. La Vcrn Powell, Doris Allrcd. John Asa Webb and Wayne Workman. Miss Jo Ann Goodrich injured in-jured her spine while sleigh riding last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Monson and two boys visited relatives in Bluebell. Sunday. The Junior Girls held their Rose prom Tuesday evening. A beautiful floor show was presented pre-sented by the following girls and their partners: Lucy Powell Wayne Workman, Ardis Goodrich, Good-rich, Wallace Stevenson. Dolly Bird. Jimmy Bird, Rola Bird. Melvin Bird, Lenna Gale and Reed Anderson. Lucy Powell was queen. Melva Rao Rust, flower girl, and Gene Barrett, crown bearer. The Primary officers ended the penny drive for the Primary Children's hospital in Salt Lake with a party for the children on Monday. The youngsters enjoyed folk dances and light refreshments. refresh-ments. $35 was collected and turned to the Stake Primary secretary. |
