Show UTE INDIAN TRIBE FISH AND GAME BOARD UINTAH AND OURAY INDIAN RESERVATION FORT UTAH HUNTING PROCLAMATION the Fish and Game Board of the Ute Indian Tribe has made investigations and has received recommendations from members of the State and Federal Technicians and Tribal and we have agreed among ourselves that the seasons and regulations to be set forth hereunder are for the best interest of the members of the Ute Indian Tribe and will not be detrimental to the conservation of wildlife on the BE IT RESOLVED BY THE UTE FISH AND GAME BOARD that by virtue of authority vested in this Board by delegation from the Uintah and Ouray Tribal Business Committee under Ordin dated October approved by the Secretary of we hereby proclaim the following i rules and regulations for the taking of Big Game on i the Tribal lands of the Uintah and Ouray Reservation by non-members of the Ute Indian GENERAL t DEER No general permits authorized for sale to the public in SPECIAL DEER The sale of Special Deer Permits are to be sold to the public within the Tribal lands partitioned to the full-blood group of the Ute Indian Tribe as 1 One deer of either sex is authorized to be taken on Special Deer Permit in the Uintah and portion of the reservation partitioned to the 7 full-blood north of the south line of Township 9 Salt Lake during the 4 general Hunting Units 22 and parts of 26 and in lower Duchesne 5 Indian The deer authorized by this Special Permit is an additional deer to the one authorized by State Sale price is to resident of or to L non-resident of 2 Two deer of either sex are authorized to be taken in the Uncompahgre south of Township 9 Salt Lake Meridian during the period of August 7 to October These permits shall be unlimited in Sale including will be minimum of i- One and one cither sex deer arc authorized i s to be taken on the area south of Town-f. ship 9 Salt Lake during the period of October 30 to November These per- mits shall not exceed in Sale price is for resident of or for nonresident of Hunting Unit Special Permits shall be on first-served S no personal checks to be i t ARCHERY The sale of unlimited Special Archery 5 Deer either is authorized to be sold to f I the public on Tribal lands in the upper portion of 1 the Uintah and Ouray Reservation in the Herd Unit and part of Units 26 and located v 7 on lower Duchesne Indian ELK No elk permits are authorized for sale to the public in ANTELOPE The sale of 10 bucks only antelope permits is authorized to be sold to the public through the public drawing held in the office of the Utah State Department of Fish and The area shall be that area of Tribal lands adjoining the public t lands as designated as the Bonanza Antelope Hunting The season shall be August Sale price is per Special Tribal Permits may be sold only to holders of valid Utah State Big Game hunting f I.
