| Show PROCLAMATION RESOLUTION Ute Indian Tribe Fish and Game Fort Utah the Fish and Game Board of the Ute Indian Tribe has made investigations and has received recommendations from members of the State and Federal Technicians and Tribal and have agreed among ourselves that the seasons and regulations to be set forth hereunder are for the best interest of the members of the Ute Indian Tribe and will not be detrimental to the conservation of wildlife on the BE IT RESOLVED BY THE UTE FISH AND GAME that by virtue of authority vested in this Board by delegation from the Uintah and Ouray Tribal Business Committee under dated October approved by the Secretary of the we hereby proclaim the following rules and regulations for the taking of Big Game on the Tribal Lands of the Uintah and Ouray by non-members of the Ute Indian GENERAL DEER The General Deer Season will run concurrently with the General Season of the State of Utah for on that portion of the Reservation to the Ute Indian One deer of cither sex is authorized to bo taken on tribal permit in the Uintah and Uncompahgre portion of the reservation partitioned to the full blood The deer authorized by general tribal permit is not an additional deer to the one authorized by State Miscellaneous provisions regulating donation of game wearing caliber of rifles or other exportation of meat from the use of careless emergency closing of age shall be identical with the regulations of the Utah State Board of Big Game Control proclaimed for ELKS The sale of 10 cow elk and 15 bull permits are authorized to be sold to the public through the public drawing held in the office of the Utah State Fish and Game Department Persons who received elk permits from the Tribe for the 1958 hunt are not eligible to receive a permit for a period of five The Hill Creek area only is to opened to this hunt during the September to September Miscellaneous provision regarding donation of illegal hunting shall be identical with the regulations of the Utah State Board of Big Game Control as proclaimed for ANTELOPE The Sale of 10 buck only antelope permits arc authorized to be sold to the public through the public drawing held in the office of the Utah State Fish and Game Department The Area shall be that area of Tribal lands adjoining the public lands in the Red Wash The season shall run concurrently the Special Antelope hunt authorized by the Board of Big Game Control in this Unit for Miscellaneous provisions regarding donation of illegal shall be identical with the regulations of the Utah State Board of Big Game Control as proclaimed for DEER The sale of two-deer either multiple post season are authorized to be sold public on Tribal lands In the Sams Dry during the period as agreed upon between the Ute Indian Tribal Fish and Game Board and the State of Big Game are to be prepared in the State Fish and Game Office and distributed to the Ute Indian for sale on a first It is further provided that if either the State or the Affiliated Ute Citizens can not participate in this then the above authorization Is null and void without further action of the Archery if rules and will be announced at a later date after recommendations are received from Indians living in the proposed hunting BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT formal proclamations embodying the directions herein be formulated and published for the information of the public as soon as practical after the State Proclamation is together with such other or other pertinent information that is approved by this by this Board during the interim AMBROSE Chairman ROY J.
