The mothers wore deep coral cor-al full-length gowns with corsages cor-sages of coral colored flowers. PRENUPTIAL showers were given by Pam Cushing, Robyn Moore, Joni and Julie Sanders, Mrs. Norene and Sueanne Wilson, Mrs. Adele Grange, Mrs. Marva Ellggren and Mrs. Ruth Young. Karen is a graduate of Vie w-mont w-mont High School and Ricks College in Rexburg, Ida. and has attended BYU. She is presently pre-sently employed with Northwest North-west Energy. Jim graduated from Madison High School and Ricks College and is attending BYU and will gradu- ate in December 1982. He has fulfilled an LDS mission in Florida. Special out-of-town guests included Mrs. Nel Hansen, maternal grandmother of the bride; Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Ure, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Zirker, Zir-ker, Mr. and Mrs. Lorentz Pearson. THE NEWLYWEDS will make their home in Provo. Karen Barbara Young became be-came the bride of James Ben Newman in rites performed May 1,1982 by Bishop R. Ber-iy Ber-iy Parker in a garden setting at lie Young residence. THE BRIDE is the daughter i Mr. and Mrs. L. Richard Young of Centerville. The (room is the son of Mrs. Cara LNewman and the late Ben T. Newman of Rexburg, Ida. A wedding breakfast was kid in their honor at the Red Flame Restaurant in Bountiful. Bounti-ful. The reception was held in the CedarSprings clubhouse in fonlerville. An open- house as held for them May 7 at the home of Mrs. Newman in Rexburg. Rex-burg. THE BRIDE was attired in a Bowing empire-waist chiffon (own with train which was attached to the bodice and sleeves with imported French Alecone lace and seed pearls enhanced with crystal pleats Bowing from the waistline. Her bouquet and headpiece were silk flowers of butterfly orchids, stephanotis, roses and baby breath in shades of topen blue and coral. Ribbon streamers were attached to both. Bridesmaids were sisters of the bride, Susan Ure, Cathy Voting, Carol Emery and Dine Di-ne Young. They wore floor-length floor-length gowns of pale coral wtin with matching snakeskin belts. Each attendant carried silk flowers of roses and baby breath in copen blue and coral shades. BEST MAN duties were per-ormed per-ormed by David Newman. Ushers were Doug Zirker, Jim ry, Stephen Ure. Brent d Chad Young, and David '""tig. Nancy Beesley attended the guest book. |
