ROY ERICKSON Temple Rites The Jordan River Temple was the setting for the wedding of Cynthia (Cyndi) Nelson and Roy William Erickson on Dec. 10. W. Monte Anderson officiated. offici-ated. THE BRIDE is a daughter of Mrs. Linda Nelson of Orem and David Nelson of St. Paul, Minnesota. The groom is the son of William Earl and Rea Erickson of 526 E. 1200 N Bountiful. Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Howard McMurray of Pocatello, Ida. Roy's grandparents are Mrs. Isabella A. Enckson of Woods Cross and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bennett of Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada. THE BRIDE wore an original origin-al gown of w hite crepe with the bodice and hem hand-embroidered hand-embroidered with white pearls. The dress had a chapel-length chapel-length train. Colleen Foster w as maid of honor, with bridesmaids Valerie Pusey, Earlene Erickson, Erick-son, and Connie Thornton. They were dressed in dusty-pink dusty-pink street-length dresses w ith side rulTles and buttons. THE MOTHERS' dresses were the same style in a maroon ma-roon shade. The bride's bouquet bou-quet was of white, pink and maroon silk roses and the attendants wore their corsages on their wrists. Melissa Nelson was flower girl. William Cole was best man to the groom. Ushers at a reception re-ception in Orem, and an open house in Bountiful North Stake House were Scott, Jeff and Greg Nelson and Justin Erickson. A W EDDING breakfast was held at Chuck-A-Rama on south Redwood Road. Cyndi graduated from high school in Minnesota and has attended Brigham Young University Uni-versity and Utah Medical Technicians School in Provo. ROY GRADUATED from Viewmont High School and attended the University of Utah before fulfilling an LDS mission to New York City. He attends Brigham Young University Uni-versity where he'll graduate in August in physics and mathematics. mathe-matics. The couple will reside in Provo. |
