| Show randolph boys receive degrees degree S W lynn norris and cleve B norris morris of randolph will be awarded bachelor degrees at the sixty fifth annual commencement men cement exercises of Brigham young university which will be held at 10 a m june 4 in the new joseph smith building on university hill history will be recalled and new history made during comment commencement ement week on june birthday of brigham young who founded the institution sixty six years ago the graduates will march into the new joseph smith building for the baccalaureate services first exercises of any kind to be held in the structure the speaker will be elder harold B lee newly appointed member of the quorum of twelve As managing director of the church welfare program he had an important part in the erection of the building the emeritus alumni club for all who attended B T Y U fifty or more years ago will be organized on june 3 and all who studied under dr karl G maeser will be honored dr richard richar d R lyman of the quorum of twelve and alumni secretary cornelius R peterson have charge on june ath the graduates will hear an address prepared by united states supreme court justice geprge george sutherland who attended B Y au U sixty years igo more than young men and women will receive diplomas |
