Smelting Firm Establishes 3 Scholarships At U Three scholarships as a memorial to Downie Davidson Muir, Jr., and Walter Hazen Eardley, two formdr officials of the United States Smelting Refining and Mining company, who did much toward the development of Utah and Its mining industry, were awarded recently and the students are now attending the University of- Utah.
