| Show n HIG I 1 PRIESTS 2 j meetings held in aurora banquet and ball are the social features which the people of aurora prepared for visitors last friday will long be remembered by the people of aurora and it will be a red letter day in the annals of the high priests quorum of sevier stake the day hid bid been set apart as the conference of the high priests and they and their and members of their fa malies hied bied themselves from all over the county to aurora to participate in a feast of spirit and a flow of soul the stake presidency and the presiding officers of the high priests quorum were present and made the affair a success from the many excellent addresses delivered in addition to the addresses of the officers there were brief talks by representatives from nearly every ward in the stake two sessions were held one at 10 and one at 2 during these meetings music was furnished by the aurora choir and special numbers were contributed by J al peterson and by G M jones and his daughter jeanette the people of aurora had made extensive preparations for the entertainment ertain of the visitors A banquet was served at noon and the tables could not have been furnished more bounteously in any part of the lords vineyard the ladies of aurora are the candy when it bomea come to pre preparing Daring a banquet the visitors were most enthusiastic thusia in their praise odthe of the spread prepared for their delectation I 1 it need surprise no one if the bi high gh priests vote to hold other conferences at aurora the tables were waited upon by groups of pretta girls who aed with each other in their attentions to the visitors after the afternoon meeting the banquet was repeated until the visitors cried fur for quarter then followed a ball A G young was nas in control of the evenings entertainment and ne demanded stunts from vanous ones une that rounded out the evenings even pleas ure music by the high school orchestra of richfield neld and all went merry as a marriage bell truly the conference and entertainment was as a success |
