Show Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Otteson announce the birth of a son on Thursday, October 2nd. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Chandler and daughter, Grace, left Mondal on a trip tt Rochester, New York. Mrs. A. C. Lariek was hostess to the Rinanon club at her home on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Cotter :, entertained their bridge club at their home Wednesday evening. ' Mrs. Josh Carpenter and sons, oDnald and Dee attended the State Fair inSnlt Lake on Mon-day. Mrs. A. Manama of Sandy is fhe house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Hy Argyle. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Dellalueia and family returned Sunday aft-er a 4 months visit to Europe. This visit was principally to Mr. Delalncia'g former home and birthplace near Venice. Mr. Del-lalueia will return to his former position with the LSinghain stagp Line. ; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Morton and family spent Monday at the State Fair. Mr. and Mrs. Josh Carpenter entertained at dinner Friday ev-ening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. II. S. Lcnnell. Mr. and Mrs. IT. S. Linnell left Saturday for Salt Lake where t hey will make their home. They were extensively entertained pri-or to their leaving Bingham. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Bee mot-ored to Charleston and spent the day Sunday. Mrs. John Ford entertained at u birthday parly for her daugh-ter, Mona, on Thursday evening. Mrs. Ford was assisted by Miss Helen Morris. . The Civic Club gave a party on Saturday evening at the Masonic Hall. The following committees had charge: Reception, Mrs. J. B. Myers and Mrs. Joe. Kemp. En-tertainment, Mrs. Kenneth Rus-sell, Mrs. Howard MeColeman, and Mrs. Guy Dellalueia. Mrs. .John West, Mrs. W. J. Myers, Mrs. A. C. Lariek, .Mrs. E. G. Ball, and Mrs. Eugene Morris. There were about .100 present. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Shelley entertained a few of their fr'emls at a bridge party on Saturday ev-ening. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Jackson, Mr. and .Mrs. Maurice i'c, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. .Miller of Salt Lake. Mrs. 11. G. Frazier was hostess to the Women's Civic. Club last Thursday evening at her home. Mr. E. K. J'appas gave a talk on Greece, Sitoria Zorbas, Christine Luras and the Saltas sisters were dressed in costume and sang Greek soiius. Little Mary Luras sang a solo. The Relief Society gave an Old Fashioned Party at the L. D. S. Ward House on Monday evening for the members and their part-ners. The program was a read-ing by Nellie Huff, a dance by Monsa Higgs, a trio by the girl scouts, musical selections by Ray Kenuer and Arthur Cook, and a piano solo by Blanch Reid. Old fashioned dances anil games were enjoyed. Refreshments were serv-ed to about 50 people. Mr. and Mrs. George Nix an-nounce the arrival of a baby girl on Saturday, Oct. 4th. Mr. and Mrs. A. A.
