Arthur Mecham, State Fish and (lame Commissioner, do declare de-clare an open season on QUAIL and PHEASANT in. the following follow-ing named count is and parts of counties upon dates and with 4 such bag limits as are hereinafter designatrd : BOX ELDER: That portion of Box Elder county lying south and east of the following described line: Beginning at the Blue Creek Water tank on the 1". P. R. R, and running thence in an easterly and northeasterly direction along the highway to Penrose; north to Thatcher, northeast to Boweville, and northwesterly to Blue Spring thence due east to the junction of Brigham-Malad and Beaver Dam highways; thence east along the Beaver Dam highway to the Col-linston Col-linston bridge across Bear river; thence up Bear river to the Box Elder-Cache county line; and WEBER: Ail of Weber county except Ogden valley. MORGAN: All of Morgan county except the Lost Creek district dis-trict above the Union Pacific tunnels. tun-nels. SALT LAKE COUNTY: That portion of Salt Lake County lying ly-ing west and south of the following follow-ing described line; Beginning at a point where the State highway crosses Davis county, Salt Luke county line und running thence in a southerly direction along said SlaHe highway to 9th North street; thence west along the north side of 9th North sit-eet to the Jordan river; thence in a southerly direction along the west bank of Jordan river to 21st South street; thence east along 21st South street, to its intersection intersec-tion with State street; thence south along State street to Dry creek, south of Sandy city; tlien-ce tlien-ce in an easterly direction along the bed of Dry creek to 15th East street; thence north along 15th East street; thence north along 15th East s'.t'eet to Union avenue; thence east along I nion avenue and in continued eastern line therewith to the boundary of the I!ig Cotton wood (Janie Preserve: UTAH: All of Utah county x-""""" x-""""" pt that portion of Sections 19, I'O and 2'J, Township 6 south, Pange 2 east, S. L. M. which lies below the old meander line and is known as the Powell's Slough district and is posted "Closed"; UINTAH: All of Uintah county except the northeast quarter of Section 34, Township 4 south, Range 21 East, which is near Vernal Ver-nal and is known as 'Bob White' refuge and is posted "Closed"; All of TOOELE, DAVIS, SANPETE, SAN-PETE, EMERY, SEVIER, JUAB and MILLARD counties. Provided that in Salt Lake, Utah and Uintah counties the open season shall be November 2 to November 9, inclusive, and" in nil other eounties mentioned in this proclamation, November 2 to November 5, inclusive. Provided further, that the daily dai-ly bag limit shall be iJiree pheasants, pheas-ants, not more than one of which may be a female; and Provided further, that in Grand, Davis, Morgan, Sevier and those portions of Suit Lake, Utah and Uintah counties open to - - .. pheasant shooting, it shall also , be lawful to shoot not more Chan ten quail in any one of the days open to pheasant shooting; and Provided that in Grand county, coun-ty, where the season is not opened open-ed on pheasants, the quail season shall be November 2 to November 9, inclusive.
